Commissioned by Theatre Hullabaloo in partnership with Redcar & Cleaveland Council and Between the Tides festival.

Weave is a crawl-through playscape designed for toddlers and crawlers to take their first independent adventures. The piece is made up of a series of timber arches that connect and intertwine creating different pathways to explore. The arches have a semi-permeable skin formed from weaving reclaimed rubber sheeting in to the frame. Crawlers are encouraged to explore the tunnels on their own whilst still being able to keep visual contact with their carers. Cushions, wind chimes and additional chill out cubbies combine to create a colourful and sensual landscape.
