Harry Pizzey is a multi-disciplinary designer based in Cardiff, Wales. After studying an undergraduate degree at the Bartlett School of Architecture he went on to graduate from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a master’s degree in Design for Performance in 2019. In the same year he was also a finalist for the Linbury Prize for Stage Design, with work displayed in the National Theatre. Since then he has gone on to work with a range of organisations including English Touring Opera, The Watermill Theatre, The Handlebards and Longborough Festival Opera. As well as theatre design Harry works across a range of mediums including animation, installation, illustration and printmaking. Recently he has worked with Scotland Street Press on a series of four novels for young adults, The Empress Irini Series, for which he created illustrations and cover designs. This summer Harry will be touring Wales, Scotland, England and Ireland with his first piece of outdoor performance art ‘The Museum of Memorable Trees’ created in collaboration with Articulture Wales.
